If overnight or day camping is what you are seeking then I would suggest you check out Pinehurst Provincial Park. Perfect to go to and enjoy a day at the beach or pitch a tent and stay for the night.
With a variety of outdoor activities, there is hiking, kayaking, and fishing to name a few. The beautiful countryside in Brantford-Brant provides a great backdrop for relaxation and family time, maybe enjoying a bonfire or on a holiday weekend watch some fireworks.
Another lovely town you will be sure to visit is St.George. Just 10 minutes down the road it too is filled with old world charm with little antique stores and tea shops for you to enjoy. For the horse enthusiast in the family there are plenty of equestrienne farms in the area too.
