Paris is a must see town for travellers, as it has old world charm and natural beauty that can guide you as far as the eye can see. You might enjoy a light lunch at The Cobblestone Eatery, or for more refined tastes a fine dining experience at Stillwaters, reservations are recommended as it may fill up quickly. The ambiance of lights flickering off the rushing waters while dining at the quaint outside seating area provides a most relaxing enjoyable experience, and a great place to take some photos.

Within walking distance to downtown Paris you will stumble upon a beautiful boardwalk that has you crossing the Nith River as you make your way to Lions Park. Let the kids run wild as you relax and enjoy being part of nature.

I mustn’t forget to mention the great little BnB Asa Wolverton House. This home is rich with history. So much so that it has been declared by the Historical Society.

Whether enjoying a stroll downtown to your favourite coffee shop or picking up fresh flowers at a lovely design store, a memorable experience is sure to be had. If taste testing is more to your liking there are shops downtown with delightful baked goods and even chocolate offerings.

Open year round for your shopping pleasure there is the Paris Wincey Mills Co. Located in downtown Paris in a historic building that dates back to 1889. This beautiful site has been revitalized and is home to a year round market with local, quality vendors and a friendly, comfortable café.

On Labour Day weekend you can take in The Paris Fair. Enjoy an abundance of attractions and fun for the whole family, such as amusement rides, a petting zoo, local cuisine,local farmers competing with their prized animals, live entertainment, car derbys, and you never know maybe even your favourite band.

If overnight or day camping is what you are seeking then I would suggest you check out Pinehurst Provincial Park. Perfect to go to and enjoy a day at the beach or pitch a tent and stay for the night.

With a variety of outdoor activities, there is hiking, kayaking, and fishing to name a few. The beautiful countryside in Brantford-Brant provides a great backdrop for relaxation and family time, maybe enjoying a bonfire or on a holiday weekend watch some fireworks.

Another lovely town you will be sure to visit is St.George. Just 10 minutes down the road it too is filled with old world charm with little antique stores and tea shops for you to enjoy. For the horse enthusiast in the family there are plenty of equestrienne farms in the area too.

There is lots to do and see in Paris. Not only is it a favourite tourist area, it is a bustling town that offers great dining and shopping and is close to almost any amenity. Many have settled here with their young families as it is a quiet comfortable place with everything at hand.
